Mackenzie and Andrew’s rehearsal dinner began with a walk down Hermosa Beach Pier, where they had their own La La Land moment on one of the most iconic piers in Southern California.

The under-the-pier shots at Hermosa Beach are unlike anything else in the South Bay. The concrete pilings frame the sparkling Pacific horizon in a way that makes for one of the most unique rehearsal dinner photo locations around.

The evening moved to Esperanza Cocina de la Playa rooftop in Manhattan Beach, featuring sophisticated coastal design by award winning architect Gulla Jónsdóttir and handcrafted materials sourced from around the world.

Every table was romance movie themed: Love Actually, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally. 

Mackenzie stepped into her mother’s wedding dress for the rehearsal dinner, a something borrowed moment that made the entire evening even more meaningful.

As the sun went down over Manhattan Beach, the night filled with hand holding, laughter, and memories that every South Bay rehearsal dinner photographer hopes to capture.

The night closed with the two of them twirling on the rooftop, with everything ahead of them and the wedding day finally within reach.
